2012 is here; the world is changing everyday, the pace of our social and economic environment is creating unforeseeable change all over the globe. Where is this massive surge to push forward with technology heading too? Are we talking about benefits for all? Will it be the destruction of our global social and economic system, as we know it?
Where do you fit in?
The millennium goals saw our world leaders set clear targets at the turn of a new millennium that were supposed to address our concerns. There is no doubt there has been a shift for developing countries to move forwards towards better social and economic objectives.
My concern is on who’s terms and what conditions are our world leaders trading away our social welfare and economic security, it pains me to see pensioners who have worked hard and saved their own hard earn cash now having to struggle to maintain themselves due to outside negligence they had no control over.
Hey, I am not just talking about the bankers and politicians here; I can remember a certain Mr Robert Maxwell did all sorts of atrocities with people pensions.
Do you remember the pain that his actions caused to pensioners many years later?
When is it all going to stop? Who is going to stop it?
Does nobody have real intangible values in life anymore?
I find myself somewhat to often asking the question has the world gone mad?
Building after building going up globally, more and more people suffering for a few to get ahead, Why? Why? Why?
Are you telling me they are all just to lazy to get a job? Or has the system got to lazy to provide fairly paid jobs for those in need and really want to work?
It is my view that the day when one could rely on our leaders to get us out of trouble are long gone. The so-called voice of reason our press and broadcasting media is redundant to any real truth and are currently on the receiving end of our lady justice.
Surely the time has come to get to grips with what surrounds us and start to focus on a people orientated approach. People have been selling on this planet since time began. You make something you sell it, or you find somebody who can produce to sell for.
Everyday we sell ourselves in our lives yet so many of us seem to want to ignore in our working lives that selling is a primary skill that everybody should have embedded for basic life survival skills. Now is the time to create or find a product or service to sell, now is the time to invest in yourself and start a business or seek to improve your existing business and make your business your bank.
Entrepreneurship involves a lot of risk, part time lackluster approach to business is not going to work, do not kid yourself, “your lime lighting” and you will be found out.
A true entrepreneur will sell the shoes on his feet when he believes in what he is bringing to market, there are no safe guards, playing safe will only get you expelled from the game.
Do you really believe in yourself?
Do you really think you can make a change in your life?
How well do you think you can sell?
Are you prepared to learn how to skillfully negotiate? And put the hours in it takes to make it work.
So many people I have met go into business with no learning and development plan for themselves or others that surround them; their primary focus is just to make money. It is quite strange cause once they get the capital many do not know how to manage and maintain their capital effectively to ensure their business grows towards a sustainable future, I know, I was there once myself.
Knowing when to make that vital move and step onto the next level or venture is a key component in your entrepreneurial life, getting prepared to take care of your own and your staff’s pensions involves an extemely high level of responsible behaviour.
When you look into a mirror, whom do you see? When was the last time you told yourself that you are capable of achieving whatever you want in life?
Do you tell yourself you are going to shape your life so you can have an early pension?
Who would you invest in? Yourself, stock market companies or a high street bank?
Who do you trust most yourself or someone else with your capital?
Do you trust yourself to ensure you make and manage your own capital?
It takes a vision to live your dream?
Look around, who is going to secure your life for you?
Yourself or somebody else?
Are you ready and prepared for the ultimate challenge life has to give you?
It takes sound belief in yourself and capabilities to go forth and seize opportunity; ask yourself who controls the helm for your destiny?
Make now your time, seize your market, create endless opportunities by negotiating your way through, we are surrounded with complaint after complaint that there is no money out there and the banks are not borrowing. “Wake up” somebody is getting it; the question you got to ask yourself is how do you get my share?
When are you going to start to recognize that wealth is created not given, you got to work damn hard all the hours inside the sun and moon to get your share, focus and stipulate your terms, put your head to the helm and enjoy your journey in life with you as the captain on your own ship.
Only then can you be the master for your own destiny and employ others to earn sustainable incomes to feed their families and secure their homes, after all not everyone can cut the cloth as an entrepreneur, it is our job to recognize the talent pools that surround us and put them to work to the best of their ability.
You will not learn sales in a school or university, why not?
The only way to learn is to go out there into the world and do it, do not moan or groan about recessions or hard times, see life as an opportunity, pull up your sleeves polish up go and get whatever you want before LIFE PASSES BY.
